Add Text to Your Comic Pages with Photoshop

Replace your Hand Lettering with Nice, Clean Text using Photoshop:

How do you do this?

Is your lettering bad? I mean real bad…then this video is for you. I actually have decent lettering (though you might not think so when you see this video.) The problem is that even with good lettering, your hand can get tired after a lot of writing and you start seeing inconsistent lettering. You see sentences that start to slant. You will also see smudges and specs surrounding your letters. The point is, you really have to be skilled and patient to hand letter all of your comic book pages.

So…if you’re not one of these highly skilled people that I am talking about, let’s go ahead and cheat by using Photoshop’s lovely text tool. To learn how to use this wonderful tool for your comic book pages, check out the video below….

This video tutorial is a supplement to the content described in my eBook: How to Create and Publish your own Comic Book. These are the exact techniques I used in order to complete my Graphic Novel, Spectre: A Dark Matter and will use in all my upcoming Books.
