Photoshop Elements Tutorial – Scaling Pages

Preparing to Publish – Scaling Pages to the Published Trim Size
How do you do this?

We originally created our comic pages on standard 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of paper so we could print everything out and keep it consistent. We now need to adjust the finished comic pages to fit a standard publishing trim size. In this case, I chose 8 x 10 which is the size of a standard comic book. Keep in mind this process works the same no matter which trim size you choose. Just substitute your height and width in for my 8 x 10 dimensions.

Check the video below to see how I scaled my pages for my Outer Space Comic adventure…Spectre: A Dark Matter.

This video tutorial is a supplement to the content described in my eBook: How to Create and Publish your own Comic Book. These are the exact techniques I used in order to complete my Graphic Novel, Spectre: A Dark Matter and will use in all my upcoming Books.
